ESQUIRE?

My name is Jason and Iโ€™m a full time dad, husband and Dj living in Fort Worth, TX. Am I a lawyer as well? No, the Esquire came from one of my uncles who started calling me โ€œJason Esquireโ€ when I was a kid way before I thought about playing music for people. The name kind of stuck. My DJ life started back in the โ€˜99 and 2000 when I met the DJ at my prom and began doing school dances and house parties. A year or so later I started Djing and facilitating weddings and corporate events. While learning to DJ large scale events, I also worked up and down Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas at various bars and lounges and ended up with a residency at Whisky Bar for several years. In 2002 I was co-host of The Game Show on 105.3 FM Talk. After a short stint in Seattle in 2006 I began DJing full time for an entertainment company in DFW that not only provided DJs but casinos, team building and event production. I also had the privilege to be one of the few Official Kidd Nation DJs and was honored to represent Kidd Kraddick in the Morning as well as work with some of the best DJs in the US. In 2013 I launched my own business, a couple of my friends nick named me the Curator of Beats and I've been doing my best to live up to that name!

Djs never stop being Djs, weโ€™re always paying attention to crowds of people and music everywhere we go. I can be at a store or a restaurant and immediately notice whatโ€™s being played over the PA. Music plays a big part in the overall ambiance wherever you go and that idea is important to me each event I play. I like to create a comfortable and positive atmosphere through music and I love seeing how it brings groups of strangers together.
