It’s Simple.

Good people

+ good music

= great party.

you bring your people,

and i’ll take care of

the music .

Quick origin story - It was 1999, 10 p.m. or so at the local country club. prom night! Right after the standard chicken and potatoes meal was finished, it was time for the prom king and queen to be announced. They danced, the entire senior class Macarena-ed, probably did the limbo, and yes, “YMCA” was a hit. I was tired and ready to go, but before taking off, the DJ that night made an announcement: “If you want to be a DJ, come talk to me.” With no plans at the time, my best friend and I decided to go talk to him. Several weeks later, we found ourselves on the other side of the decks…well, CD players.

That’s how it all started for me and I’ve been lucky enough to do it full time for most of the last 26 years. I love being a DJ. I love not knowing what’s going to happen on any given night. I love the nerves that keep me up the night before a gig.

Sometimes I wonder what would’ve happened if the photographer at my prom had made an announcement instead. 😬 I really love this job. I get to bring people out of their everyday lives for a while and just enjoy each other and share a moment.

weddings

I care as much about your wedding as you. I’m not the kind of DJ who just shows up, hits play, and hopes for the best. I really want to take the time to get to know you both and understand what kind of vibe you’re going for, not just for the music, but for the whole experience. With everything you’ve planned I’m sure you’ve heard it before - “what’s your vision?” Your planner and florist definitely ask this but why would a Dj? The music plays a huge role in the day’s atmosphere.

Think about how the soundtrack enhances a movie, a live show, a road trip. Even a shower! Without the right music, it’s good, but not as great as it can be. When guests come into the ballroom for the first time, you want the room to wow them, and the music needs to enhance the look and feel.

It’s my job to take your style and musical tastes to create an experience that’s consistent with the overall atmosphere you want. This also applies to cocktails, dinner, and dancing. The music should make sense the whole day. When the soundtrack for the reception fits, people subconsciously feel that and it ultimately helps with the party. They’re not ready to dance right when they get there, but after vibing and catching up with people they haven’t seen in a while, they’re loose and ready.

special events

Planning a corporate event? I’ll design a soundtrack that aligns with your brand, sets the right mood for networking, and leaves a lasting impression on your clients and team.

Streaming a live conference or event? Zoom, Vimeo, YouTube or Google Meet, I’ll provide the soundtrack that connects with both in person and virtual audiences, keeping attention sharp and engagement levels high.

Throwing a holiday party? I’ll bring the energy that makes it more than just another end of year gathering. Your CEO just might end up on the dance floor.

more mixes

  • Yes, I’ll be the Dj at your event!

  • I do carry liability insurance.

  • For every piece of gear I bring there is always backup gear on site just in case.

  • For a wedding reception, I do include Astera Pixel Tube lights for the dance floor

  • Spinning vinyl would be for special events only, my most common setup is a laptop connected to a controller with two platters that spin in the same fashion as records.

  • I do travel for events and have been all over the US and to Mexico, we can work something out!

  • Always knowing what’s going on in the room is key. People watching is part of the job and really helps when you're trying to play the right music.

  • Not every crowd is going to be super hype, and that’s ok! My role is to feel the energy, stay real, and let the vibe build naturally, rather than force it.

  • Volume is important. It’s all about finding that perfect balance to make everything feel just right.
