DJs never stop being DJs—we’re always paying attention to crowds and the music wherever we go. Inside a store or a restaurant, I immediately notice what’s playing and whether it fits the room or not. And don’t get me started on the lack of elevator music these days.

My name is Jason, and I’m a full-time DJ, husband, and dad living in Fort Worth, TX. People have asked if I’m I a lawyer too. No, but I do represent clients in the court of music! 🙃 The 'Esquire' comes from one of my uncles, who started calling me 'Jason Esquire' when I was a kid, long before I ever thought about playing music for people. My DJ life started back in ’99 when I met the DJ at my prom and began doing school dances and house parties. A year or so later, I started DJing and running my own weddings and corporate events. While learning to DJ large-scale events, I also worked up and down Lower Greenville Avenue in Dallas at various bars and lounges, eventually landing a residency at Whisky Bar for several years. In 2002, I was co-host of The Game Show on 105.3 FM Talk. After a short stint in Seattle in 2006, I began DJing full-time for an entertainment company in DFW that provided not only DJs, but also casino setups, team building, and full event production. I also had the privilege of being one of the few Official Kidd Nation DJs, representing Kidd Kraddick in the Morning. In 2013, I launched my own business. A couple of my friends nicknamed me the ‘Curator of Beats,’ and I’ve been doing my best to live up to that name ever since!
